Whenever someone trains with Eliud Kipchoge, they are asked to plant a tree at his training camp to symbolize their growth. The insole graphic imitates this growth with branches reaching toward the front of the shoe. The red clay color is a nod to the Kenyan soil that dirties the shoes during training. The font references African trees with fractal-like patterns on their surfaces.
